A 1-Step Guide to Passionate Prayer

What adds passion to prayer?

Understanding adds passion.

Romans 8:26-27

Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searches the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

The Great Principle

God, who is Holy and Who is Spirit, can now work in your holy spirit which can work in your mind and in your body.

Philippians 2:13; For it is God which works in you, both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

This is the Mechanics of HOW holy spirit, as the gift that God shed abroad in our hearts, works. Romans 5:5; And hope makes not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost (or Spirit, pneuma) which is given unto us.

Now when we pray, we can also know that God is going to work within us on situations. He is the spiritual eyes behind our eyes, mouth behind our mouth, and ears behind our ears. This is a tool to use when we, as believers, need it. God will never override our freewill. Isn’t it a comfort to know that God and His understanding, power and wisdom are only a thought away. He designed it this way. It’s so simple even a 4-year-old could get it and not break it. It’s so complex the wise don’t understand it, but could use it and gain boundless understanding from it.

1 John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

Tap in to the great principle when you pray. Take your requests to God knowing that he hears you. But not just hears you he understands your heart. Find empowerment in realizing that you are never alone, never. God stitched this amazing gift into the very fabric of our being.

Today I challenge you to Pray with power! Pray with boldness and believe God for all kinds of miracles.
