Ephesians 1:6; To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
Have you ever felt inadequate? I have. I notice it most when I’m around someone condescending. From atop their “high-horse”, they announce that something about me isn’t good enough. My size, shape, color, past, future etc… I’m sure you’ve experienced it too. And all a “person who condescends” proves is a vast lack of humility and understanding. God, of anyone, ought to “condescend” to us, but he never does. Isn’t it nice to know that. He says in James 1:5; If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that upbraideth not (doesn’t make you feel bad); and it shall be given him.
And no matter what, once we’re adopted and made God’s kids we are….
Accepted in the Beloved
Accepted, in literal translation means — he made us abundantly lovely and acceptable by means of His beloved Son. Isn’t that comforting. Who decides if we’re adequate? God does, and it’s already decided. If I get out of fellowship with God, I can get back in because He already made me his family, and he wants to fellowship with me. God made us accepted, not man, not my trainer at the gym, or my degrees, GOD did that. So today go out…have courage. Know that no one can make you feel less adequate, unless you decide to let them. Soar high today with the promise that God is your sufficiency and truth. If he believes in you than you should believe too.
Ephesians 3:16,20; That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
20; Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
