How Does it Work?

Ephesians 1:13; In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.

I've got a river of Life flowin' out of me!

How many of you thought I was making this up? Ha! Here is the procedure I explained yesterday. The procedure of getting “anointed”. We all go through this when we believed Romans 10:9-10. So let’s break it down in chronological order.

  1. Ye (you all)

  2. You all Trusted

  3. Heard the word of truth. (To clarify what you heard he adds) the gospel of your salvation.

  4. Then you Believed

  5. Then you were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise.

It’s powerful to use the words of the Word for the procedures that take place. Here it says we are sealed with Holy Spirit. That is God’s gift to us, it makes us spiritually his kids forever. We have Holy Spirit because God is Holy and he is Spirit. He wanted to fellowship with us as his kids. It’s like a Mac having a parallel program so it can talk with a PC. He made us able to communicate by way of sealing us with holy spirit. He put this whole procedure in place to talk to us and make us his.

This is the whole procedure of what happens when someone gets “born-again”. It is so exciting that God writes in the Bible. And what is that Holy Spirit of promise, it’s what Jesus told the apostles would happen after he left.

Acts 1:8 a; But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Spirit is come upon you.

Live free with accurate knowledge of the Word. Read it for yourself and study it. God can reveal his Word to you. He knows what he meant when he had it written down. So ask him. He wants to talk to you or why would he have done all of this? The author is still alive!
