What is Leadership?

Ephesians 2:17; And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

Literal translation: Ephesians 2:17, And having come to make peace available to and for Gentiles, evangelizing those who were far from God, and make peace available to and for Israel, evangelizing those who were chosen of God.

John 3:16 says, God so loved that he gave…

Here, Jesus Christ so loved, that he preached, he gave his life.

Believers so love, that we carry on what he started.

It all sits on the axis of love and rotates because of giving. You are precious to God. He gave a gift to you. You, in turn give that gift to others by speaking His Word. You “make peace available” just like God through Jesus Christ made peace available to you.

What is leadership?

Is Leadership when you have thousands of followers on your Facebook or twitter account?

What would do if you had over 60,000 followers every day? How would you direct them?

What will you tell them?

Research says we have over 63,000 thoughts per day. These are 63,000 followers that are waiting for your direction and guidance.

2 Corinthians 10:5, Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

Leaders lead their own thought-life first.

Leadership is about being willing to love so much that you give. If we can first lead all these followers/thoughts to God’s love the giving will come naturally. What you give will be the peace Jesus Christ gave.

A leader so loves that he gives.

How do you lead?
