Now I’ve gone too far…

Ephesians 2:19; Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

I'm not thinking about growing up...I just found ducks to chase MOM!

Now we are fellow citizens with the saints. Saints is the Greek word hagios. Hagios is found 229 times in the Word. It is translated holy, sanctified, pure, set apart. It is also used with the Greek word; pneuma or spirit. Pneuma Hagios is Holy Spirit. Saints, are people with Holy Spirit in them. They are made holy and righteous before God and set apart from the Devil. God’s kids.

Shocking isn’t it. Some of God’s kids don’t behave. Yet he still calls them saints. He still thinks the best about them. Do we?

Romans 8:27; And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what [is] the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to [the will of] God.

The Spirit is poured out on ALL who believe Romans 10:9-10.

1 Corinthians 1:2; Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified (set apart) in Christ Jesus, called [to be] saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours.

Hebrews 6:10 For God [is] not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

We raise our kids as stable, independent members of the community, proud citizens of their birth country. Would God want it any differently for his kids?

Growing Up

Ephesians 4:11-13; And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers. (WHY?) For the perfecting (or maturation) of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till (When?) Till, we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect (mature) man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.

Ask God what your potential is? God knows His children/saints and what they are each capable of.

What did your parents want you to be when you grew up?
