Why Wait?

Ephesians 3:9-10; And to make all [men] see what [is] the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly [places] might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God.

God wants us to know him.

Really know him.

Join me for a moment in imagining heaven. 1 Corinthians 13 11-13 says that when the time of perfection is come, we will be known as we are known. Our neighbors and friends who believe Romans 10:9-10 will know our faces and likenesses. We will have a totally renewed mind. In other words God’s going to sort things out for us. We will have no reason to shed a tear. There will be no sickness, sin or death. Some days I sit and wonder if it will be tomorrow or two thousand years from now. We’ll get to visit with believers who went before us.

Eternal life will be an echo of our soul yet grasp the awesomeness of God.

When I look at Ephesians 3:10, I get the shivers. One reason is; God wants us to know his manifold, or manifested, wisdom now. He doesn’t want us to wait until we step foot in paradise!

How many of us take advantage of all 900 hundred promises found in the Word…now? In 11 days we are going to explore one promise that I’m sure you haven’t touched the tip of! LOL! There is so much there.

What I am saying is, why wait till we get to heaven to live the promises? Why not develop a hunger for God so big, that we drool while studying his Word? A hunger that causes us to reach into the dusty corners of change and grow undaunted by our past.

Today, I urge you to join me in inviting someone to grow with us. If we stick together we are not easily broken.
