Ephesians 4:7; But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
Did You Know God Loves Baking?
Or at least use baking analogies. Every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Here we go talking about that amazing powerful gift of Holy Spirit God gave us. God measured it out precisely when you were born again and you didn’t get anymore or any less than the Apostle Paul, the Pope, your pastor, friend, brother or anyone else who believes Romans 10:9-10. If someone is making you feel like a worm because they think they did well…show them this verse.
That brings me to a relevant question. If all of us have the same amount how do some of us see miracles, signs and wonders and others just survive?
Mark 16:17; And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
If you have a measuring cup full of flour but it sits there on your counter for a year without ever being added to anything do you have a problem? Yes! You have to mix it with something to get results! In the case of our gift we need to mix it with faith.
Hebrews 4:2; For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard [it].
Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
When mixed with faith it acts like yeast in a bread recipe.
Galatians 5:9; A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
Luke 4:4; And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
Jeremiah 15:16; Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.
So this holiday season enjoy your baking and every time you measure out a cup of something remember this verse.
But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
