Please Press: Control, Shift…Pray?

Wouldn’t it be great if we had a “PRAY” button on our keyboard?

We have an “Escape” button I guess that’s close enough. All we’d have to do is push that little button and our requests would go up to God, our praise, everything. Wouldn’t that be neat?

Of course, if it was just a button the devil would convince you the keyboards are out of style, and tell you– nobody uses that old thing anymore. If that didn’t work he’d try to disguise the keyboard as something else so you wouldn’t know it was there. He’d try to unplug the power button, and put a label over it that says “Emergencies Only!” He’d perch outside your windows and bang on them so you’d get distracted and not use the “Pray” button. He’d tell you things like. “That button doesn’t really work so you might as well not use it.” Or he’d send in some foxy vixen to distract you or your family from remembering to push the prayer button. All so you wouldn’t put your finger to that ever-so-powerful “Pray” button.

Hmmm….

2 Corinthians 4:4; In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

 It says here, he’s already doing that. Thank God we don’t have a button! We actually have the most advanced biological/spiritual sophistication going on inside us. Smarter, faster, and easier to work. Check out this verse.

Romans 8:26; Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Make time to pray today. Our country and our world need you.

1 Thessalonians 5:17;

Pray without ceasing.
