What is the “Understanding You Holy Spirit” webinar about?
Leadership, A More than Abundant Life, Growth, Motivation,
Empowerment, Inspiration, Equipping you with Knowledge
“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2:12-14
We have received a spirit not of this world; which inevitably means there are spirits in this world that people can receive, but we received of God so that we might freely know the things of God. Wow! What a promise! Okay, so how do we freely receive the things of God. What if we don’t know how to hear God’s voice? Verse 13 says, we should compare spiritual things with spiritual. The plague of Christianity is comparing natural things with spiritual things or vice versa. I’ve seen so much confusion about who to give credit to for things happening in this world. Is God opening doors and shutting windows or was it the devil? How do we tell the difference if we have never understood, first, what we received, and second how to receive the things of God from it?
These verses are one promise among hundreds written about God and the Holy Spirit. Promises are like checks written out with your name on them. All you have to do is obey and cash in. We are God’s children. God is the perfect parent. How much love do we have for our kids? And God knew about us from before the foundation of the world, as it says in Ephesians. He also called us to do good works. What are those good works? Do you know? In the promise above, God says He’ll teach us through our Holy Spirit. Wow! When I look at the changing leaves on the tree outside my window, I marvel at the precision of God in His creation. Here in a simple plant there is a subtle water to plant matter change compounded by temperature and sunlight causing photosynthesis resulting in luscious and vibrant physical transformation in, once green, leaves. Wow! How amazing is all of that? God says it is nothing compared to the MASTERPIECE He created in us. Do we know everything about photosynthesis? No. And a plant is not even a living breathing thing!
We are fearfully (reverently) and wonderfully made by God’s own hands.
“Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place.” 2 Corinthians 2:14
How did God cause us to triumph? Through the Christ in you. The gift, the salvation, the package that most people have no idea what they have. Do you see why I’m so excited to sit down and have a long chat with you? This seminar is designed to empower you about the amazing gift God reverently created inside you. I have years of research and teachings lined up ready and have never received the green light to do a webinar before. Which tells me that the time is ripe and there is someone out there hungry for greater understanding and practical application in their walk with God. I pray that person is you. Of course, you and I will have plenty of time in heaven to sit down and get to know each other, but while we’re here, maybe we can learn something more about this amazing gift of salvation. Maybe we can even begin to triumph.
I haven’t even mentioned that all the attendees receive a free copy of my ebook, “5 Basics for Growth”. (Sign up by clicking the link below) The cost of the seminar is $5.00.
Yes, a ridiculous low price for a seminar of this length, value and an ebook included…I know. But I guess it reminds me of this poem.
The Bridge Builder
An old man, going a lone highway,
Came at evening, cold and gray
To a chasm, vast and deep and wide,
Through which was flowing a sullen tide.
The old man crossed in the twilight dim;
The sullen stream had no fears for him;
But he turned when safe on the other side
And built a bridge to span the tide.
“Old man,” said a fellow pilgrim near,
“You are wasting strength with building here;
Your journey will end with the ending day;
You never again must pass this way;
You have crossed the chasm, deep and wide—
Why build you the bridge at the eventide?”
The builder lifted his old gray head:
“Good friend, in the path I have come,” he said,
“There followeth after me today
A youth whose feet must pass this way.
This chasm that has been naught to me
To that fair-haired youth may a pitfall be.
He, too, must cross in the twilight dim;
Good friend, I am building the bridge for him.”

I hope to see you at the seminar.
Bring a friend.
We’ll share a chat like old friends, about God and all that He has begun in you.
God bless you today!
