To put it mildly….
Life is BUSY!
So why do I feel like a new adventure is about to begin? Because, in just a few short weeks, Supporting Godly Women meetings begin. They will be at our EXIT Realty Yellowstone office in Billings and hopefully we’ll be able to Skype with any woman who would like to join us (long-distance) on those evenings. Here are the logistics.
When: Wednesday, June 4th, 2014 6-8 PM MST
Where: EXIT Realty Yellowstone (across the parking lot from ChuckE Cheese’s at 71 25th Street West, #1
What should you bring? Your King James Version Bible (if you don’t have one let me know and I’ll bring extras, A notebook and no children. (Yes, I said no kids.) No childcare is provided. So find a sitter or talk to your sweetie in your sweet voice and get them to give you a night off.
What is the purpose of this meeting? We are going to start with the basic keys to studying the Bible and launch from there into all kinds of subjects such as: effectual prayer, relationship tangles, and how to really know what God’s will is for our lives. At the end of each meeting we are going to take a half hour of discussion/prayer time. This will be a power-filled prayer and ministry time so get ready to start seeing signs, miracles and wonders occur in your life. This Bible study is going to be packed with positive, Word driven fun and fellowship. If you’ve been longing for a meeting for just “the girls” that feeds your spirit and inspires you to overcome, then this is the right place. Join me every Wednesday night starting June 4th at 6 pm MST.
Now, let’s start our day with a huge dose of God’s love!
First, a prayer.
Father God, this is Your group, Your blog, Your family and Your time. We give it to You and thank You for making it all a reality. I am so excited to see what You have in store for us in this next 24 hours and this coming week. As we start this Monday, thank You for guiding our hands, wisdom and hearts into knowing what the right word at the right time is for all our situations. Thank You for your son Jesus Christ who died and You raised from the dead so we could have this fellowship with You. God, You are the maker of the human heart. You know where it’s broken, where it aches and how it grows strong. Thank You for making us strong, prayer warriors with a heart to do Your will. I love You Father. Thank You also for forgiving me of my broken fellowship with You and giving me unity again. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
John 3:16, God so loved the world that He gave….
Wow, that’s a huge dose of God’s love right there. God is love. But why did He GIVE so BIG? What was His plan? Well, thank God we don’t have to guess, He goes right on to tell us.
….”His only begotten son that whosoever believeth on him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
Our everlasting life is different from an eternal life. Did you know that? Everlasting means it has a start date. Eternal means that life goes back eternally and goes forward eternally without beginning or end.
The moment we believe Romans 10:9-10 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” We receive salvation, everlasting life, and sonship rights from God our Father. We are forever changed! Physically you may not feel different because spirit is spirit and physical flesh is physical flesh. We cannot feel spirit. There are some ways you can know if you are saved, we will go over that at another time, but for now, you have received Everlasting life. And this is just the beginning. YUP. Just the beginning of the rest of eternity with you and God. HOW COOL IS THAT?
Let’s look at a few other cross referenced verses.
“He that believeth on the son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” John 3:36
Anything outside of God’s hand of protection is wrath, because the Devil is the god of this world and he designed it that way. Do you ever wonder why things are so hard? Well, that’s the Devil’s agenda. He made them that way. Not God. But do you see how God gave us everlasting life? Cool huh.
Let’s look at another one. This is Jesus talking about what God is going to do after he dies.
“But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” John 4:14
Check out this next one.
“For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” Galatians 6:18
“Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.” 1 Timothy 1:16-17
GOD is eternal going back eternally and forward in time eternally, but we are given everlasting life that starts the moment we believe. Are you feeling that love of God now? I sure am. God wants us with Him. He wanted a family and He paid the highest price to give us this incredible gift.
God bless you today.
