Are you SOLD OUT to the Wrong Administration?

This week, we talked about two things, the seven administrations, and selling out or buying in to one single idea. I sat down today and wondered what I would blog about then I saw this verse.

“Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure  heart.” 2 Timothy 2:22

I don’t think I’ve ever studied this verse. Now that I look at it and I’m in awe. Paul is telling Timothy, his student in God’s Word, not to fall for youthful lusts. Do you think the youthful lust was women? Well, not if we look at the context above and below. Paul tells him to watch his conversation, and the temptation to sell out to a wrong idea. Righteousness means “the right way to believe”, but a few verses back in the context, Hymenaeus and Philetus strayed from the right way to believe about the resurrection of the dead saying it was past and they were living in the tribulation. They got tripped up on the wrong administration, they sold out to an idea, which changed who they were and in the end who they served.

But this verse in 2 Timothy 2 tells us to follow the right way to believe which is faith, (Greek=pistis), charity (Greek=agape, the Love of God in the renewed mind) and peace (Greek = eirēnē), along with them who call on the Lord out of a PURE (Greek= katharos) heart. This verse is loaded to the hilt, so I started studying in every which direction until suddenly I realized something. This verse ties in beautifully with our week of learning. Here’s an illustration.

Teenagers are Just Un-matured Adults

I have noticed a temptation with teenagers. A little drama happens and it takes over their whole life. Twice, recently,  I’ve been around a 13-14 year old when there was drama at school that literally made them so sick they called home. Have you ever seen that? It is a “youthful lust” to fall into that trap of drama. It’s a trap to sell out to what anyone around us says or an idea that isn’t truth.

It would be like someone coming along and telling you we are living in the tribulation or the end times, in Revelations today. Whoooooaaaa Terri. What did you say? Yep, I know it’s controversial because the idea Hymenaeus and Philetus had is still alive and well. What did we talk about during the first post of this week? The seven administrations. The Grace Administration is when we are in. The Grace Administration ends the moment Jesus Christ comes back and we are up and outta here. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18) As soon as we see him, we are done with the Grace Administration and we will go home to live with him in heaven. Okay. So when are the end times? When does the tribulation happen? It happens in Revelations.

Who is Revelations addressed to?

“And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, and hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” Revlations 1:5-6

Jesus couldn’t be the first begotten of the dead, until he was raised from the dead in the Christ Administration. He couldn’t have washed our sins away until we believed Romans 10:9-10 in the Grace Administration. And he could not  have made us kings and priests until we were resurrected and living in our new spiritual bodies in heaven during the Judgement Administration. Do you see how that lays right out for us? Look at the very next verse.

“Behold he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.” vs. 7

This is where Revelations starts. The tribulation doesn’t begin for those left on earth until after we are raised from the dead to live eternal life. Which means Revelations is written to those left here who read it and believe it.

The tribulation is the last chance the people who didn’t believe before Jesus Christ returned will have to believe on him, but they don’t get what we got in the Grace Administration and from everything I’ve read and heard, they all die. Trust me, we will not want to be there during the “end times”. The tribulation is the time when the Devil gets more power, more say and more authority than he ever had before. Why? Because no one left here has the gift of holy spirit and the power to stop him, even those who believe on J.C. It will be horrible for them.

So if someone comes along and tells you the end times are happening now, guard your heart. Don’t sell out to the wrong administration like Hymenaeus and Philetus did. Buy in to this administration and all the awesomeness God provided right here and now for your life. This is the time He promised for you to have life and have it more than abundantly. This is the time when we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. This is the time and the administration when we received all nine manifestations and the authority of Jesus Christ to bind principalities and powers here on earth. SO get to work. There are tons of things to do for God! There are healings, deliverance, and the incredible ministry of reconciliation. That is our great commission and calling.

Sometimes people get so heaven bound, they are no earthly good.

They get sold out to a wrong time period or section of the Word of God that isn’t addressed to them, and lose the effectiveness and pure, right believing God has for them in the here and now. It’s such a waste, in my opinion. Today is our day to LIVE for God. Today is our time to reach out and tenderly bless a heart. Today is the day to see signs, miracles and wonders. Make today your new day with God in Christ and your renewed mind. Don’t wait another second.

God bless you today!!
