Did you know there are five areas to life?
These areas surround us like five spokes on a wagon wheel. When one breaks or weakens, the wagon must stop and work out the issue.
These supports must be there and in good condition for a person to succeed in any endeavor they have. For instance, I’m passionate about ART and the ART business, but if I cannot make any money selling my art, I can’t keep doing it. I need financing. Or I have a problem. Or another example, I have a close relationship criticizing every piece I produce. That relationship would be crumbling in that part of my wheel. Disaster!
Just think for a minute, if any one of these spokes where missing, or unattached, it poses major problems and possible threat for the wagon. A wagon’s purpose is to get somewhere, for protection from the elements and enemies. It hauled their belongings and hopes over long distances. Our lives are similar, we start out in one place and hopefully we follow our dreams forward and pioneer our own journey into the wild unknown. I see people trying to make this work all the time with broken wheels and broken lives. Imagine trying to lead!
The great thing is, God covers every single area in the Bible. He tells us how to be more than conquerors and victorious with each one. He tells us how to fix our spokes! HOW COOL IS THAT!? This wagon comes with a manual. Over the course of the next few posts in this series on “Leadership Rocks!”, I’ll go over each spoke in our wheel.
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Do you know what you don’t see everyday?
A working wagon with all the working wheels. That person is rolling in style. When you do, it blows everyone’s mind.
God bless you today!
