Sorry. Hee he he…
I couldn’t resist.
Sometimes…okay most of the time, a good laugh is just what the doctor ordered!
Aren’t kids so much fun! They give us perspective. They give us their joy, their zeal their honest love for life. I love kids.
When they smile, we want to embrace them. When they hurt, we hurt. There is nothing more amazing than children.
This last weekend I worked a trade show booth with my husband and our band of awesome Realtors. I saw so many children. Some of them I knew, most I didn’t. There were a few times when one would throw their arms out to me from the safety of their loved one’s embraces. I’d hold them and talk to them…okay oogle and tweet at them. They are all so precious! I’m sure I neglected someone profitable in favor of their little smiles. But you never know…someday that little one will be reading our ad and call me! Lol…
But seriously, children are the light of our worlds. They play as astronauts exploring untamed wildernesses on the picnic table of their best friend.
Life is full of possibilities!
Why can’t we still have that? Why do we stifle ourselves in the dry rot of life? Why not explore our dreams? Why not see what could be possible and then dream even bigger? We have God as our Father after all. He looks into our lives and sees our joy and smiles. He sees our dreams and makes them bigger. Why can’t we just try it?
“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God.” 1 John 3:1a
We’ve got the biggest Daddy in the universe!
Just imagine if we really took Him up on His promise to bless us exceeding, abundantly, above all we can ask or think.
We’d be the kids with the grins from ear to ear.
Go ahead. I dare you.
“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us, And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” 1 John 5:14-15
Just ask and believe.
God bless you today!
