She Who Has Been Loved the Most…

Finds it harder than any to walk away.

Love is no respecter of persons/status or title. There is no shadow or turning, no favoritism, just a complete unconditional kindness and giving of love. Think of the innocence that a baby loves, or a puppy who has no knowledge of you and I. It is a simple love. It is without an agenda, without manipulations and a total freewill choice for the receiver to receive that love. When they do…they are melted by it. How can you turn from the adoring eyes of your child?

Now imagine, God.

He IS love. Not human love, He is spiritual love, called agape in the Greek. It’s a far bigger and hundreds of times more pure than even the baby love. God loves in spite of His omniscience. You see, agape has the full understanding of every hardness in our hearts, every black deed, every hypocrisy and yet still pours on the kindness. Why? How could God do that? Look at Romans 2.

“Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and long-suffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?” Romans 2:4 (NKJV)

God knows that His goodness or kindness and tolerance and patience will win in the end. And He “knows” that because of His omnipotence. Oh…and He made us. Yup, as far as we want to run away from God and make choices that don’t honor that love and sacrifice, He still pours on the love and tolerance because we are His creation. Not in the way that He controls us. He never meant for us to be His little robots, otherwise why would He waste His time giving us freewill. No, He loves us and sheds abroad that love by His unspeakable gift. What gift? You ask.

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Spirit) For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” Acts 2:38-39 KJV

God poured on His Love then gave His Son. He invites us everyday just to look a little deeper into His love. It’s the real deal. The more you have it, the more you manifest it. The more you manifest it, the more you have it. Soon you’re so loved, so tender-ized by it, that you could never walk away.

God bless you today!
