It’s funny how you get to the end of a long day working and think…gosh it feels like I forgot something? Then that still small voice says…”me?” Yep. I forgot about…Him. It was not hard when I think back. Circumstances like over-sleeping, sick kid, sick self, work, late for school, tired, more work, calls, meals, parent teacher conferences and the list goes on way too long. Needless to say…here I am nodding off while looking at the screen.
It’s a good thing…
“He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. (screw-ups, mishaps, and oversights.) For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.” Psalms 103: 10-12
You see that’s the great thing about the Bible. It’s always there to remind you of this…
“Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits; Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with loving kindness and tender mercies;” Psalms 103:1-4
God doesn’t get tired. Neither does the Word.
And then He melts my heart.
“Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 Peter 1:4
We get to partake in the divine nature.
I will dream well. I will sleep safe. So should you. Good night!
“When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet” Proverbs 3:24
God Bless You Today!
